PASS.LT is a password generation and checking tool. This privacy policy explains how we handle information related to your visit.

2. Password generation

All passwords are generated locally in your browser using a cryptographically secure random source. Generated passwords are not sent to a server, not stored in a database, not written to logs, and not visible to the PASS.LT team.

3. Password checking

Privacy guarantee: password checking runs on your device. The password you enter is not sent to a server, not stored, and not visible to PASS.LT. After checking, you can press "Clear" and the password is removed from the input field.

4. Cookies and local storage

PASS.LT does not need cookies to generate passwords. Your selected theme (dark/light) may be stored in your browser local storage so it is remembered next time. Generated or checked passwords are never stored.

5. Session history

During a session, PASS.LT may show a history of passwords generated in the current tab. This history is kept only in your browser memory. Closing the tab or pressing "Clear history" removes it.

6. Third-party services

PASS.LT does not use any external password breach-check services. Password quality is scored entirely in your browser.
